Pumpkins and Leaves

After my fail at the pumpkin patch yesterday, I was determined to find some pumpkins today. I called every pumpkin patch around, but they only took groups during the week. Finally I found a farm that was supposed to have a road-side market. After driving for 30 minutes, we got to the stand to find NOTHING!! I was so sad. I decided we'd drive back to town and get the address for some pumpkin patches in Greensboro.

Wouldn't you know that not 5 minutes down the road, I saw a little road-side stand with a few pumpkins and gourds?! I hadn't seen it on our way to the farm! We pulled right in and the sweetest little old man greeted us. I told him about our troubles finding pumpkins and he was so excited that we stopped. He was so cute...trying to help me get pictures of Sawyer (which didn't work! lol!), giving him things to hold and touch; he even got out an old riding tractor toy that his grandson used to ride on.

It really blessed my heart that there are still good, kind people in the world.

We got a few pictures, but Sawyer mostly just ran around from one thing to the other!

The little old man tried to get him to sit on the tractor,
but he just ran circles around it instead!

He wasn't quite sure about the indian
corn...he kept using it like a broom!

Someone spotted a little green tractor in the shed!

Cute little old man trying to help him with
the pedals!

When we got home, I decided it was a good day to rake up a big pile of leaves for Sawyer to jump in. He was not a happy camper when I told him it was time to go inside and take a bath! By the way...how do leaves get in diapers??!!
