Sawyer vs. Mommy...

We've had two VERY rough days in the discipline department here at the Cole house.

Ya know, days when your child is disciplined within minutes of waking up, days when "Obey Mommy right away" must sound to toddlers like "disobey Mommy right away," days when your child, who used to only sign "sorry," now clearly says "sorry" because they've had so much practice, days when you've cried just as much as they have, days when you've put yourself in time out because your patience is wearing that thin, days when you seriously just don't want to spank or carry your child to time out any.more. because you're that tired of dealing with it....

I have found that days like these make me pray a lot more...which is sad, but good. I'm reminded that I, too, sin and throw fits and disobey God all the time...just like Sawyer does.

So, really, we're no different...just a 2 year old sinner and a grown up sinner learning together how to glorify God.
