From the moment she found out she was going to be an aunt she has spoiled Sawyer rotten! She loves him....really, really loves him. She comes to see him almost every week, even though it's an hour drive. She invests in his life and wants to spend time with him. She knows him so well....all his little quirks and likes and dislikes and what his "words" mean.
I'm so thankful for that.
Friday she went above and beyond and bought Sawyer an entire summer wardrobe, which is precious to me for several reasons...one, she works hard for her money and could buy lots of things other than baby clothes, but she chose to spend her money on Sawyer. Two, she doesn't expect anything in return or hold it over my head that she's done something for me. Three, she doesn't realize how much God's hand was in it....living on one income is hard..we knew it would be. And, by no means would Sawyer be without clothes for the summer, but he'd definitely be wearing Garanimals from Wal-Mart instead of the cute stuff she got him!
It's so humbling to see the ways God provides for us.
Thank you, Murphy, for your generous spirit, for loving Sawyer so well, for being God's hands and feet to him, and showing him what it means to love someone else more than yourself. He loves you so much...and I do too!
