Easter Party!

Sorry for the lack of blogging...holidays are crazy busy for a pastor's family! And Lance has had a couple of days off, and we REALLY cherish that time together!

Saturday we had our annual Children's Easter Party at church. This was the first year that Sawyer participated.

at that point, his hunting ceased!

We had a great turn out...about 20 kiddos! I still think that Sawyer thinks I'm making him clean up when we hunt for eggs...he's not very into it!

Easter Sunday was nice and relaxing. We didn't have early service, so we actually ate breakfast and Sawyer played with his new dinosaurs from his Easter basket. There were no Sunday evening activities at church either, so Lance was home all afternoon and we had steak and grilled veggies for our Easter dinner!

We are so very thankful for Christ and what he did on the cross. And we are thankful for an empty tomb and a risen Savior!
