SNOW!!

The weather man was right this time! Last night around 6:30 it started snowing and didn't let up until after midnight! We even had "thunder snow!" Lance had just put Sawyer down last night when I got home from practice, so I went and got him up to show him the snow. He was so excited and kept telling me he wanted to make snow angels (pronounced "so anals!")

When he woke up this morning we got dressed right away and went outside. He looooved the snow (and told me it looked like Christmas!), but it was a really yucky snow...very icy...not good for snowballs or snow angels. Oh well. Maybe next time!

Throwing snowballs at Daddy!

He fell down and couldn't get back up with all those
clothes on!

Making a snow angel.

Failed attempt at snow angels!

"I wanna play snow more, mommy."
Someone was none too happy about
having to come inside!

Tape

Sawyer loves tape....and he thinks that it fixes everything! But today we used it to make roads for his cars. I think he liked putting tape on the floor more than he liked driving his cars around!

"I fix it!"

This morning Sawyer kept telling me that his car was broken. I suggested that he fix it and he went to the playroom to get his toolbox. "I fix it," he told me.

Boys and their Toys!

Sawyer got two remote control cars for Christmas...one from Mush and Papa, and one from Mimi and Adam. He took a while to warm up to them, but once he did, he and Lance had a blast!

Christmas #1

FINALLY getting around to blogging about Christmas! Sorry...my computer charger is broken :(

Anyway, we started our Christmas festivities with Mush, Papa, Mimi and Uncle Adam on my birthday! I made potato soup and my mom made Taco soup...delish! We had cookies and candies for dessert!

I'm pretty sure Sawyer was completely overwhelmed with the amount of presents in our living room!! He wasn't very into opening the gifts...so we ended up opening most of them for him. I think his favorite things were his basketball goal and Super Why cake toppers! Go figure!

Believe it or not, this year my parents didn't "go overboard!"

Someone's excited!

"Help me, Mush!"

Not a huge fan of wrapping paper!

Mush and Papa got another photo book! Mush made it
to about the second page before the tears started!

Sawyer LOVES this castle. He calls it his
"Mike the Knight" castle.
A few cute things I want to remember:

Sawyer was playing with the castle and when you open the gate it says "Who is it?" He had one of his Super Why's going through the gate and answered in a sweet little voice "It's Princess Pea!" My dad lost it!

In the midst of opening presents he looked around and said "I LOVE toys!"

We had such a great afternoon with my family....so, so blessed!
